Modern World Briefing

Work with us

Modern World Briefing considers collaborations that fit its focus on global connections and give readers useful context. Proposals should explain the subject, format, intended audience and the nature of the relationship.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly scoped educational projects, commissioned explainers, event or resource listings, and partner placements relevant to the publication. We look for a genuine fit with the subject and a straightforward benefit to readers, not a broad association with global affairs alone.

Partner placements

Relevant partner links or placements may appear across the site, including on pages beyond a single article. Their presence and relationship to a partner will be clearly identified. A placement is not an editorial recommendation, and partners cannot buy a favourable conclusion or independent coverage.

Editorial boundaries

We keep partner material distinct from independent editorial work. Any supplied claims or materials must be accurate, appropriate to the subject and available for review. We may decline proposals that would confuse readers about who is speaking or compromise editorial independence.

Send a proposal

Contact us through the Contact page with the proposed subject, format, intended placement and partner relationship. Include any relevant materials and a clear way to reply; a proposal is not a commitment to publish.
